in Utah. While staying at a Zion Ponderosa rental cabin you will find yourself close to incredible snowmobile trails as well
as cross country and downhill skiing opportunities.
Cross-country Skiing
If you are looking for some of southwestern Utah’s best cross-country skiing trails you only need to take a short 40 minute
drive from Zion Ponderosa to Duck Creek Village. Duck Creek is surrounded by beautiful evergreens and aspen trees. The area
averages 20 feet of fresh powder each year and is home to more than 50 miles of perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails.
Whether you are a beginner or an old timer, you are sure to enjoy a cross-country skiing adventure across one of the most
beautiful parts of the Colorado Plateau.
Snowmobiling
If you prefer to tear through powder on a powerful snowmobile, nearby Duck Creek Village also offers incredible snowmobile
trails and you can choose to participate in a guided tour or rent the machines and face the trails on your own. From Duck
Creek Village you can ride to beautiful Cedar Breaks National Monument, a spectacular collection of exposed red sandstone
located northeast of the village.
Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding
For guests who prefer downhill skiing, Brian Head Ski Resort is only a short one and a half hour drive from Zion Ponderosa.
